Annette O'Toole spent her childhood in the Houston studio run by mother. She made her television debut in the age of two when she was a child on The Don Mahoney, Kiddie Trooper Show. With her mom with ten years of singing and dancing classes under her belt, went to LA for a full year at the age of thirteen to find out whether she could be successful in showbiz. Within two months she landed her first paying job singing in the Danny Kaye Show with Danny Kaye. She says that she has used her singing and dancing talents in numerous ways. It's great discipline for actors." O'Toole's first appearance as an actor was My Three Sons. This was later followed with Gunsmoke. The Mod Squad. as well as Hawaii Five-O. O'Toole has starred in over 40 television series. Although she is famous for her work in TV and films she is a theater enthusiast. After a six-year run in Smallville she decided to pursue a career in theatre, something she had been performing for the last ten years. First auditions at New York led her to being cast in The Sea Gull. She has appeared in several off-Broadway plays, such as Adam Rapp's Kindness Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska and Tennessee Williams' A Lovely Sunday For Creve Couer.
