Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she studied the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. She was able to survive with the stipend she received from her students while working part time jobs. Lennox decided to change her profession following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience and lack of talent contrast to other Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground. The group did not appear on the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She was the main vocalist for The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to the year 1980. In this band, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they created the Eurythmics pop duo. After that, Lennox began to work on her first solo album Diva and it was released in the year 1992. The album received a lot of praise, both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs six-album solo, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top jazz, blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. Her first album, Now I'm Letting You go... It is the perfect accompaniment to her work of artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25, 1954. Following a modest successes as a part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992, with the album Diva. It featured many well-known songs, including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and the song Why.
